Building expertise through structured online learning

System Management Masterclasses

Our online courses focus on virtualization technologies and system administration techniques. You'll work through real configuration scenarios and learn to troubleshoot actual deployment challenges.

Each course combines video demonstrations with hands-on labs where you configure systems yourself. We cover proxmox setup, vmware remote console workflows, and vmrc connectivity patterns used in professional environments.

What you'll actually learn

Six focused modules that take you from basic concepts to managing production virtualization environments.

Virtualization Fundamentals

How hypervisors work, resource allocation basics, and when to use different virtualization approaches. You'll set up your first VM and understand what's happening under the hood.

Proxmox Configuration

Installing and configuring proxmox for real workloads. We cover storage setup, networking configuration, and backup strategies that actually work in practice.

Remote Console Management

Setting up vmware remote console and vmrc for efficient remote management. You'll learn connection methods, security considerations, and troubleshooting common access issues.

Network Architecture

Designing virtual networks, implementing VLANs, and configuring firewall rules. Focus on isolation patterns and traffic management between virtual machines.

System Security

Hardening virtual environments, managing access controls, and implementing monitoring. We cover practical security measures that don't break functionality.

Troubleshooting Workflows

Systematic approaches to diagnosing performance issues, connection problems, and configuration errors. You'll work through real failure scenarios and learn recovery procedures.

Your instructors

Henrik Voss teaching system management concepts

Henrik Voss

Virtualization Systems

Henrik spent twelve years managing enterprise virtualization infrastructure before teaching. He focuses on configuration patterns that reduce maintenance overhead and troubleshooting methods that actually work under pressure.

Siobhan Kerrigan demonstrating remote management techniques

Siobhan Kerrigan

Remote Console Workflows

Siobhan specializes in remote management tools and secure access patterns. She's worked with vmrc implementations across different organizational sizes and teaches practical approaches to console connectivity.

Linnea Bergqvist explaining network configuration

Linnea Bergqvist

Network Design

Linnea designs virtual network architectures and teaches network segmentation strategies. She breaks down complex routing concepts into implementable steps and helps students understand traffic flow patterns.

How enrollment works

1

Choose your track

Select between the complete six-module program or individual modules based on what gaps you need to fill in your current knowledge.

2

Get lab access

We provide virtual lab environments where you can practice without breaking anything important. You'll have access throughout the course duration plus 30 days after completion.

3

Work through modules

Watch demonstrations, follow configuration guides, and complete hands-on exercises. Each module includes troubleshooting challenges based on real scenarios we've encountered.

4

Apply what you learned

Final module projects involve building complete virtual environments. You'll document your configuration decisions and explain your troubleshooting approaches.
